Very obvious common sense information - nothing most people should / would not already know. But quick read and priced right.
I found this ebook to be very helpful, easy to read & very informative. I don't frequent Pawn Shops so I had no idea about quite a few items mentioned in the book! This book was interesting and after reading it I don't feel so intimidated about shopping in a Pawn Shop.
Most of the info is basic, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth being reminded. Mary Louise alone is worth getting the book for.
This book did give the pawn newbie some hints, tipsy and explanations about how pawn shops work, but it was more like a short e-book than a regular book. Overall it told me what the title says.
Is a quick read, would only be good for people who don't mind buying used items, or who frequent yard sales/auctions/pawn shops, etc. If you are into this kind of thing, some good tips.
A chatty description of activities that someone who DOESN'T use pawnshops would be able to guess, but someone who depends on pawnshops is too stressed to figure out. It was fun and light reading.
