More like 4 1/2 stars...great story. Left me wanting more, which is a good thing. Dragons versus kids...I have to say, is one of my favorite mix. I'm a fan of kids out smarting, out doing, and generally being better than us adults.

I met this author at a library function. He caught my attention very quickly. I liked his "what if...." Concept of storytelling. I would be very interested in reading much more from this author.

It follows him as he escapes the binds of his old life and creates a new one- meeting new people, and having old pals catch up with him to help him on his adventure. looking forward to more stories in this new world! hope a sequel will be on the way soon
I choose this rating because I feel the book deserved it. I loved the book. It kept you interested from page one. I found my self hurrying home so I could read another chapter. This a great book for children 8 and up and adults who enjoy a fun read. Congrats to the author on a job very well done. I look forward to his next book. Hurry Patrick don't keep us waiting to long. )
I bought this on a whim because I love epic fantasy stories, and this one did not disappoint. To briefly summarize, it is about a boy who finds himself on the run after being branded an outcast in the Medieval fantasy dystopia he lives in, ruled by Dragon overlords. I am a Middle School teacher and I am considering recommending this book to my students. My own kids love it too.
Quick paced romp that left me wanting to read more.
Ordered for my son. He was happy with the book and the condition was good.
Easy fun read. My son was hooked and loves reading about dragons even if they are the bad guys. Entertaining
This was a good book, though being just one and not a series it doesn't have enough "time" to introduce us to the whole universe. It was interesting though, specially the idea of dragons ruling the world and the different sapient species.

The ending felt a little bit rushed to me, but it made sense and was well thought. Good story overall.
